I just finished opening the box from InRange. The Bulgarian AK74 looks outstanding. Troy did a great job from the looks of it. Now that I am retired I can spend tomorrow morning at the range. I hope it shoots as good as it looks. Has anyone else received a package from InRange this week? Before any of you ask for a picture, I don't have a camera, it walked out of the house with the fellow who broke in to my house last year. I will post more info when I get back from the range tomorrow. Good Shooting, Sparky1 |

Jeep, Yes this seems to be a fine rifle. I took the rifle apart to clean it, man does he fit things close. Nice trigger job also. I tried several types of mags they all click in fine save the Romanian ten rounders. They are made slightly different from all the others and they won't click in. It looks like the front latch on the Romanian ten round mag is longer than all the others but I am not sure that is the problem. I will work on that problem after I get back from the range. Wish Me Luck, Sparky1 |

Very nice, especially the one with russian wood on it. You don't see AKS's with the go fast pin very much stateside. That third pic looks exactly what mine AKS74 is gonna look like, sans the third pin. Now like Palatin said, go shoot some videos with it. Preferably 720x480 or 720x576 so we can burn them on DVD's. |

Range Report From Sparky1, I spent several hours at the range today(RETIRED YOU KNOW) with the new Bulgarian AK74 built by Troy Sellers. The gun ran fine. I shot 115 rounds. Troy had the sights on the money. The gun is still very tight even after 115 rounds. My guess is that it will take several hundred rounds for the gun to breakin. I used three different mags and they all worked fine. My 5 shot groups were mostly around 6 inches at 100 yards which isn't bad for a 60 year old who is seeing 3 front sights at the same time. Two of my groups were around 1.5 inches. My last 25 rounds, which I shot fairly guickly, were all hits on a B27 target at 200 yards. For me that is minute of bad guy. It looks like this one is a keeper, Sparky1 |

Jeep, Just because he is a RETIRED cop do you think lives only for doughnuts? Even if that were true, we all have our weaknesses. Don't put us old guys down for being retired and living on a fixed income. I like a doughnut now and then myself. If you are ever in K.C. I will take you for coffee and a LaMars doughnut or 6. Remember you have your own weaknesses, Sparky1 |
