*****PICS REMOVED***** Thanks for the help. |
Nope, post 86 Dealer Samples are select fire/full auto weapons that were imported after the 1968 import ban for military/law enforcement use and after the 1986 ban on manufacture. Something like this could have been imported for T&E purposes, but not available to civvies unless they were a dealer and had a letter from a Chief LEO that their department would like a demonstration. |
Why is That? |
Arrow in triangle is Izhevsk arsenal A star or arrow in star is Tula arsenal, this can have a number of variations depending on when it was made. Older Mosin Nagants, mid 1920's and earlier often had a small star. Later MN91/30's and M44 etc had the large star with arrow. Tula made parts have the small star, mags ,bayonets etc. Arrow in an oval is the Kovrov arsenal, they made among other things SVT 40's and RPK's |
Thanks for all the info guys. I'm going to remove the Pics now. Thanks again. |
You get the secret 3 ring binder with all knowledge when they make you a moderator. ![]() Just kidding. Firedog pretty much covered it. Sometimes Romanian rifles get confused with Izvesk because the Romanians also use an arrow in triangle, but the Romanian mark is a "broad arrow", the fletching is much wider. |
