I got an email from Troy Sellers two days ago. He said that he is working on a run of 74's, mine among them. Those of you that have 74's at InRange should be pleased as punch in about three weeks. Happy days are here again! Good Shooting, Sparky1 |

I don't know the price yet. When I sent my rifle in he told me about 4 months. It looks now like he will meet his time, which is unusual for a Gunsmith. I have known a few and they almost always take longer (much longer) than we think they should, but then we all wanted the firearm yesterday. Having lived 60 years I am almost aways highly pleased if a Gunsmith can deliver with in the same year he said he would. My thought is that Mr. Sellers must do his work in lots as the set up time is long and if wants to feed his kids he has to make a little money. He can never tell when people will send in enought work to make a lot so he must shoot in the dark so to speak. I have never known a rich Gunsmith. I think they do the work because they love it, not for money. Everyone says his work is outstanding so it is worth the time you spend wishing the brown truck would bring the package. Good Luck and Good Shooting, Sparky1 |
| Troy is currently building an AKS74 for me on a Flemming registered Norinco reciever. It should be coming home in the next few weeks! My current Inrange stable includes 2 SWD converted Polytechs that Troy has worked on(one AKM clone and the other a RPK), A SBR krink built on a Polytech receiver,a Bulgarian .223 AK built on a SLR100 milled receiver, an AMD65 and the above mentioned AKS74 project. Troy has been great to work with and has done excellent work. |
