I recently had my SAR2 barrel threaded by a gunsmith, and now he is unable to tell me what thread size and what direction he made it. I have tried to put a slant cut 14x1 left hand compensator that is on my Vector underfolder on there just to see if it fit, but it is too big. Ditto for the AK74 brake that is on my MAK90.

How do I figure out the thread size and direction that my SAR2 has been threaded to? I'd like to put some kind of muzzle device on there.

Thanks in advance.

Start by looking to see which way it would turn to tighten down, R or L?
