OK LONG TIME READER FIRST TIME POSTER. GOT A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS ABOUT MY WASR 10. FIRST HAS ANY ONE ELSE HAD TO FIX THE FEED RAMP TO PROPERLY CYCLE BRASS CASED AMMO (I KNOW THE AK IS DESIGNED FOR STEEL CASE) I BOUGHT A BOX OF REMINGTON UMC CARTIRDGES AND 4 OF THE 20 HAD THE PRJECTILE PUSHED INTO THE CASING.H AND THE OTHER IS CAN I LEAGLY PUT A FOLDING STOCK ON A WASR 10 WITHOUT US COMPLIENCE PARTS. THEY SELL THIS VERSION WITH THE STOCK AT ATLANTIC FIREARMS BUT NOT SURE IF ANYTHING IS REPLACED WITH US PARTS. ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED. PS. GREAT SITE GUYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK sorry guys didnt know that typing in caps was yelling didnt mean to anger anyone just was wandering before i go and put a folder on my rifle and make it illeagel. |

Doesn't matter. If they're replacing a Romanian wooden buttstock with a foreign made folder, then your parts count didn't change. If you're worried about it, email Atlantic. As far as the brass, I didn't have any problems the ONE time I fired my Mini-30s brass cased ammo thru my WASR. Stick with Wolf. The WASR and Wolf ammo is the best, cheapest, no hassles gun and ammo deal going. Why go looking for a problem? |

thanks for the info. the reason i was using brass and steel cased ammo is because i was looking for the best ammo for my rifle and as you stated the wolf wasr combo is the best although i had no probs wiht brown bear or silver bear either. speaking of wolf my local funshop owner tells me he cant get wolf anymore (hence the brown and silver bear) should i just order it online or is he just telling me this to up the prices? |

First I've heard of Wolf getting scarce. Maybe he just gets a better profit margin on other brands?!? I can get it anywhere, all day. You can sometimes find it online cheaper than in a store. Plus, no tax in most cases. Check the tacked thread in the AR-15 column of this site for all the online ammo dealers. Ammoman and Sportsmanguide usually compete for the best prices on MOST ammo, but there are plenty of sites that sell cheap.. By the way...of course the ammo thread on the AR side of this site is all .223, however, it's a good place to start looking for who charges insane prices and who wants your business.
