Are all (imported) AK magazines currently available in the U.S. pre-ban? East German bakelite, Bulgarian waffle etc. ?

Thanks,

As a rule, other than 5.56, most likely.
Good luck finding a date code on one anyway.

What do you mean "preban" ? The ban on magazines is over at least for most of us that is.

EXACTLY! I live in Massachusetts, one of the states that has it's own "Assault Weapons" ban. It's the same as the recently expired Federal ban.  I'm pretty new to the AK but I can already see where this is gonna' get habit forming.....I'm just trying to get a handle on the magazine issue....

Thanks to all
