UltiMAK picked up an AMD65 this weekend, and I took it out for it's fire testing. As I pointed out in another thread, it wasn't perfect. Lyle worked on it this week and has a mount on it. This weekend I hope to slap on an aimpoint and go test it. I just wanted to point out, the muzzle break is REALLY FREAKING LOUD. I took one shot with muffs, stopped and put in some plugs under the muffs. Here it is (click for a larger image):  Oh yeah, they picked up a Jokin AMD65 clone, too. I'd put up pictures but it's a shameful example of metalworking, and metal non-working. Ugh. |
| If it gets SBRed will the original brake not be used? I am waiting on the paperwork for a couple of SBR AMD65's and plan on building them just the way they came (semi only of course). I already know that they are loud with the factory style brake but that just seems to be part of thier uber-evil personality. |
