I`ve been wanting an AMD65 clone for a while now. Atlantic Firearms has them. I have two questions,

1.First and foremost the rifle is made by Red Jacket firearms, I haven`t heard much for or against them, do they build a good AK?
2. Does the stock interfere with the trigger or selector lever when folded?

Thats it for now, any other info will be helpful. Thanks

Red Jacket is an underated co IMO... The work I've seen they've done was very good.
As for the stock it doesnt ....

The AMD-65 is an awesome AK varient....However, it's not very comfortable to shoot in the open stock position (cheek weld).

on the contrary I find it very natural to shoot.   I actually like shooting it more than my WASR

krinkfreak, repub18 do you guys know anything good or bad on Red Jacket Firearms? I`m looking at the AMD65 that they make. Also it is made on an Ohio Ordnance MK99 Receiver, is there any problems with that receiver? Thanks

Like Jicky said they dont have a rep that they should have

Great Builder and he sells mostly to Atlantic Firearms

I have seen nothing but good things come from them.

And the OOW receiver is of good quality.
