| Hi. I was lurking around in here and I have some questions. My buddy has a romanian Ak. I see you all think the Hungarian is a better ak..... Where do you get those? Are gun suppliers here in KY have the romanian Ak for around 325.00.. Is there that much difference betweeen the two. I have to be one up on him if I can. And what about a mac 90. Is that a lot better gun? thanks for your help. |

The Hungarian stamped reciever guns are the nicest stamped AKs you are likely to find, good luck finding them. They haven't been imported in several years, and when they were being imported did not come in in nearly the quantity that the Chinese guns did back then or the Romanians today. The Romanian guns aren't bad, some here think they are garbage, but most of these people will never understand what an AK is all about anyway. The Chinese MAK 90's are nicer than the romanians as well, but have gotten kind of expensie compared to a Romanian. If you can find a Nice Hungarian or Chinese AK for around $350-400 you will have a nicer gun. Your gun isn't likely to be all that much more reliable, but a little "nicer"all the same. |
