There is an auction nearby tomorrow morning and they have a mak-90 available.  My question is that it was marked as Mak-90, Norinco, Tucson Arizona.  I was confused to see the Tucson Arizona and was curious if this was who put the gun together or just the importer.  Is this something to try and get or trash?

Thanks for any assistance.

B-West Chinese AKs are put together here on an American receiver. Usually marked with B-West on the receiver.

B-West - American made, B-West imported AKs as well as manufactured AKs from parts kits. Their imported AKs are perfectly made as are Norinco or other Chinese arsenal weapons. Their receivers are the ones to avoid. They didn't heat treat the guide rails in the receiver, causing dramatic deformation after as little as 2000 rounds. Be sure you're looking at a B-West import and not B-West manufactured gun before you buy.

How will I tell if its their reciver or it was imported complete?  It did say norinco but not sure if that proves anything.  The Auction is about 15 hours so I want to make sure im getting a good deal and not a crappy one.

Thanks for the quick replies!

If it says Mak-90 it is most likely an import.  Where in Tucson is the auction, I don't have any plans for Saturday.
