Why not have them take 308 Galil magazines?  They are a dime a dozen here

Would one of those dustcovers fit a normal AK receiver?

If so, any chance of seling seperately?

Guys,
I would love to do a .308, heck we have a program wrote for it!  Theres no kits to be had at the moment.  There are some parts at IMI and I am working on that, but they do not work too fast over there.

Anyone have an idea of what a pre-89 ban Galil AR in mint condition goes for these days? I own one that I bought in 1987 that's probably only had 100 to 200 rounds through it.  I guess there's a difference between what it's worth and what you can get for it.

[#24]
What its worth and what you can get for it are 2 different things for sure.  I'm not going to speculate on price except to say its alot more than you paid, if you can move it.  Or you can just sell it to me for what you paid for it and make my year.

Todd,
Do you have a good supply of these?  I am trying to get up enough money for  an ARM or AR, but it will take awhile.  Hope you don't run out first.   Also is there a SAR with a 16" or 18" barrel?  Thanks.

Easy guys. Shotshow time. Been busy building for it and trying to get customer work done. Todd left for Vegas this morning. Won't be back until Wed, week after next. He simply hasn't had time to do anything else lately.

No, it is a fake can to get the legal length. They use a regular Galil flash hider, or more commonly, the brake.

We have a few of each on hand. The SAR's have 13" barrels. Only 2 MAR's (micros) at the present. There are more kits on the way. Will be here soon.

We'll let you know when everything gets here. I'm sure Todd will be chiming in as soon as he gets some spare time.
