[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Removing upper hand guard

I've got a wooden upper hand guard that won't budge. Any tips or suggestions?

Hey, (check your IM BTW)

Put the flat sides of the tube, in a vise. With a "gloved" hand rotate the furniture 180 degrees. You might have to tap it a hair.

I've got a post in here as well. They say that you can just get it to slide off, some suggested lubing it. I haven't done it yet, but I may be back over the break asking the same question. Good luck to you.
