My wife just told me she didn't think she would be able to get a scope for my AK in time for christmas so for me to go ahead and order which ever one I want.  I was first thinking of the PK-AS but was wondering if it is that much better than the PK-A, PK-AV, or PK-01 ? any one with any info on these let me know which one is the best.

Campy, what about the PK-01 "V"? The PK-AV looks too high up. Do you own both? I'd like a review.

Prob the PK-AS-V.
None of them really belly down to the irons line of sight, so there will be some extra parallax to work out at varied distances. If you have more than just a dot for the reticle, then you have lines or curves to work with in order to aim just a bit under/over and hit your target.
I enjoy my Kobras from when the exchange rate let them be only $130, so I do not own a PK series yet.
The etched glass reticle on the PK-AS has an eye relief, so do not buy the weaver version and plan a fwd mount. The red/black dot Always works, and the circle/dot picks up targets ultra fast like an EoTech.
