Is the SAR-2 barrel large enough to be threaded for a 14 mm brake like a regular AK barrel? I want to thread one to take a brake like those that Global Trades sells that is 14mm............any advice?

no, it is much smaller. However! Jason at IGF sells an adapter that will make it work!

No offense, but why? The Ak-74 muzzle brake is much more effective.

I was going to build something unusual out of the SAR-2 and didnt want to fool with adapters or waiting on K-Var..............I guess I can just get that adapter now
