Does anyone know if this flash hider exists in a 14X1LH thread pattern - that will work with 7.62X39?

I find the FH here : https://secure.valinet.com/~yankeeh/cgi-bin/web_store/web_store.cgi?page=muzzle.html&&cart_id=9857199_31274

I see that (appearently copies) of it exist in 14X1LH threads : www.airsoftclan.com/product_info.php/cPath/6_79/products_id/795?PHPSESSID=aaa5831da2e358c69a2e2ad65b58ea97

But does anyone know if it will work with 7.62 rounds?

Also - is YHM the manuf. of these flash hiders? (should I just ask them?)

.223 only they do not offer and have no intention of doing so for 7.62x39, your best  bet would be to contact dynasystems-ltd.com/index.html and have them make a simular one.

Thats what I figured.  Thanks for the link, but I'm thinking anything custom made would be cost prohibitive, at least more than I was hoping to spend.

Got an email reply from YHM this morning about it :

Mr Foster, I am sorry but we dont. We only produce them to be used with AR
type firearms that are .223 cal. but thank you for your interest. If there
is enough of a market we may develop it in the future.

Hello,

I have a question about a product you guys have available, specifically
your Phantom Flash Hider 5C2.  Is this product available with 14X1mm left hand
threads, that has a bore large enough to work with 7.62mm rounds?  I want
to see if I can mount one of them on an AK47.

Thanks,
Kevin Foster

Could open up it up and thread to M14x1 lefthand and open the hole up for 7.62 on an existing one. Should be plenty of meat left for it.

Thought about that too, and I found this thread : www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=120&t=230872
