My friend at my local gun shop called Lew Horton today (10/5/04) and the price was $1200. I feel it's a littel high myself.

Yea, it's a "Limited Edition" hanging on the wall at a Houston Gun Shop. I think it was $1,100

It's probably limited edition because it's one of the few new Sunset guns showing up on the market so far that ARSENAL has gotten around to making. With Kerry ????, might be next to last!

It's got the PRE 94 features, Flash Suppressor, lug, and everything. Maybe I can talk the dealer down $200-$300.

Any opinions on what you guys think the max price of this rifle should be?

I think I might get my local dealer down a good chunk. WOULD I BE CRAZY PAYING $900 for this gun?
I'm thinkinig there's not too many out of the box AK's with all the goodies available out there. Especially maybe not after NOV 2!!!

My local shop has one (but the brake looks different) for $1069.  I thought that was too high!

They had one (similar, Arsenal underfolder AK74 variant in 5.45x39, wood foregrips) at the big town gun show for $750 I think, NIB. I really liked it, would have bought had I had the cash on hand. The underfolder is very well done.

I wouldn't pay the previously mentioned MSRP though, a bit high.
