Will the grenade recoil boot fit a side folder???Like a Romanian...Is it anymore comfortable???

dunno if it will fit a wire side folder but the comfort factor ain't in the rear of the wire stock for most folks.

it's the wire/strut itself.

try wrapping the strut wire with a few turns of foam or bicycle handlebar cork tape (used to be my methed of padding the damn things) and see how much improved it feels.

I know a guy who wrapped his in padded grip tape used for baseball bats and tennis rackets. He seems to like it.

I did the same for the Choate folder on my 10-22 & the Butler Creek folder on my Rem 870.  Didn't really need it on the 10-22 but I had left over grip tape from doing the 870 so why not.
