[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Encountered a problem with AK! Help!

Hello all! I have a Maadi type AK. I was shooting it when suddenly it jammed, I looked at and saw that the bullet did not go into the chamber all the way. So I pushed on the charging handle to help it in and it would not go, it was like if something was keeping the bullet from going in. So I droped the mag and pulled the charging handle all the way back and let it go and the bullet went in fine. This happened twice within one 30 rnd mag. I decided not to shoot it anymore until I heard from someone who knows about this stuff. Is this common? Is there something I can do to fix this? Please help guys! Thanks!

Did it FTF with all your magazines, or just that one mag?

...is the front sight hooded? What I am getting at is it a MISR, that combines Chinese and Egyptian parts?

The front sight post is the half circle look, not the full circle if that helps any. I would post a pic if someone tells me how to do that.
