for replacement poly stocks for my MAK, ( slant receiver? )  other than the fiber force type

Im thinking I want the ones with the shielded h/gs since I have a feeling mine will get hot at some point in its life time

Ill probably use this for reference to start looking for a good deal on the EE

has anyone ever modified the production t-hole stock to make it more comfortable to use ?

Im thinking about recontouring the grip until I find a replacement. If so .... any pics ?

Ive made some custom grips for handguns and some minor stock work before so this should pose no big problem to do

also how hard is it to remove the hand guards from tis thing ? is there a link to the instructions posted in here somewhere ?

TIA

If you do have a slant cut receiver you can get wood stocks from www.ironwooddesigns.com/ or a skeleton stock from www.rpbusa.com/
