I have seen some Soviet drums for $100.  I have a Chinese and Romy drum already. I have never handled a Soviet drum. How do they load? Are they better than what I have? Thanks

The Romanian drum is a copy of the Russian drum.

better is a relative term...

as you are aware, the romanian (and the the russian) rpk drums top load thru the feed tower one round at a time. a lula is a necessity.

the chinese drums rear load thru the open door.

the russian/romanian drums are manufactured better, imo.

I've had a Chinese drum for several years but I hardly ever use it,last week I bought a Russian drum and I really like it.The drum has alot more forward angle than the Chinese and,to me,it feels much more comfortable.
