I cant belive the accuracy from this rifle I fired russian military surplus ammo and I was shooting 2in groups .From what I understabd his type of accuracy or better is normal for this rifle.I would like to know if anyone has gotten similar results .

Congrats! The SAMs are better than avg, and those groups are on the good side as well.

I get the same results with my reloads too. I'm very happy with the SAM 7.

Yep,just took a basic carbine course with mine and it kicked ass with the ULY in the spam can.

I can shoot 1/8" groups, in a hurricane, behind my back, one handed, both eyes closed, during an eclipse at 1000 yards with my SAR1.

2" group at what range?

Personal experience while zeroing the SA M7 sights- 3-shot groups at 50 yards ranging from <1" to 1"

...3-shot groups opening a bit from 1" to 1.5" at 109 yards (100 meters)

Oh yeah, these were shot with Wolf. Got some Barnaul over the weekend and can't wait to see if it'll do any better in the consistency department.

I shot that 2in group at 100 yrds from a bench rest position and there was some wind to deal with but I dont think it was much of a consideration.I want to try some better ammo and see what happens.Can anyone recomend a good factory load to realy tighten the groups up.Thanks Ray

Go to the ammo forum of the AK-47 section of this site. There's a thumb tag forum on AK47 ammo test. Every firearm will shoot differently on various ammo. Try a few different loads and see which one your SA M7 favors.
