Well I finnaly got an AK.

simple, basic, cheap,..but a start

Romainian WASR-10
$299.99 and came with a 30 and 40 rounder.

Here it is with my AR. I can't wait to get out and fire this thing.

Dammit! Now I'm pissed! Why didn't my WASR-10 ship with a matching blonde butt stock?!? I got the stupid, mismatched laminate stock. Oh well, in a few months it won't matter because she will be a sidefolder! :D

I must agree that his WASR-10 has the nicest wood that I have seen on one. I bought a couple of WASR-10 rifles (10-rounders) from interordnance last year and my wood was horribly finished in that dark red varnish that looks like a drunk monkey has applied it. Interestingly, I swear that the wood on mine had been finished NICELY in a light brown varnish finish PRIOR to being turned butt-ugly with the red being slopped on top of it. I noticed this when I refinished the wood. Why someone would have done this defies all logic.
