I took my ORF built AK74 to the range today. Essentially my rifle is form the same fine "stock" as the SEAK build. Pix to follow. It shot well, no probs and smooth as one would want. Gotta zero it in. Same as any other rifle on the planet. Mine is a bulgy kit, in plum, only difference between it and the SEAK is the folding stock I opted to go with. PIX before midnight. Promise. Came home from the range and cleaned it outside under a shady tree. <I'm from a military home and after you shoot you clean. It's a "This is my rifle" kind of thing... > Was going to post pix sooner but the charger for the camera battery went missing. After eating I'm going to run out and buy a throw away battery so the folks waiting can get a taste of what they have coming. |

Mike and/or Krinkfreak - Are you gonna let the people in the first batch know personally through email when their individual rifle has shipped? Or will it be announced via AR15.com or a general email that all first batch rifles have been shipped? Also, just curious, how are they getting shipped? USPS, UPS, FedEx...Ground, 3rd day air, etc... Thanks! |

ORF notifies me of the rifles which are built and ready to ship. Myself and ORF go over the paperwork, make sure the order is correct, I release the final payment funds, and then ORF ships the rifle to the FFL. I then send an email to each SEAK purchaser notifying them of the shipment date. I also update the master spreadsheet with the shipping date and notify the board owner and senior staff members of which rifles shipped. ORF ships via UPS. KF |

Pave, I'm working out the details, but the original plan was for ORF to do a mass purchase based on everyone who said "YES" on their order form when they ordered in the first batch. I show that amount as 22 scopes at the present time. I will have to touch base with Todd at ORF to see what the latest acquisition plan is... KF |

All, Three SEAKs were available to ship today. Two actually shipped. One went to the ORF "Time Out Box" because of updated FFL information being required. Talked to Mike and he told me he should have about 15 SEAKs ready to ship tomorrow. More details to follow as soon as I get them. KF |
Tools of the trade. Parts are starting to become fewer and fewer!    Like KF said, Troy is supposed to have 15 parked for me in the morning. I will have these ready to ship by 3:00 tomorrow afternoon. As always, I'll send KF a list and he will notify those that ship. Thanks again guys!! Mike |
