I took three of my,un-fired by me,guns to the range this morning. My Yugo SKS,Line out Norinco and a little pre-war German 38spl derringer I picked up back in the fall.As expected, all three functioned flawlessly in the pouring rain at a little range I use up in the Cherokee National Forest. As I was getting ready to return home,I decided to take the Jeep on up in the Mountains and check out the swollen creeks, river, and mud.It was a great day,I love bad weather! Now that I'm home and all the guns are clean and oiled I'm going to top it off with a couple cold Grolshs'.

A great day indeed!I love bad weather, you don't have to share the range with anyone and there are plenty of big mud holes to play in.The mountains were beautiful today, there was so much run off from all of the rain.Waterfalls everywhere and the creek was almost at road level and actually crossing at some points.

I tell you, Jeep owners are all the same... :)
The question is how do you afford a Jeep habit and a gun habit???  I find that one will suffer while the other thrives...maybe when I move up a couple of tax brackets.

The AK habit takes priority, although I am thinking about a 3 inch lift and a taller profile tire.

Good for you!  Perfection is not totally unattainable.  You just have to make time for it.
