| OK, I admit it. Not only do I live in the PRK, but I also dont know what "bump firing" is. How do you bump fire and what is its purpose? Newbie, just wanting to be educated. THANKS |

It is a way to have a bunch of fun with an AK. Support the gun with your left arm, holding it by the forend. Place your right trigger finger in the trigger guard and cradle the stock gently between your right arm and body.Don't hold the pistol grip in your right hand. Pull forward on the gun until it fires, but keep the forward pressure constant. The gun will recoil slightly and then it will move forward again, firing again, then recoil and move foreawd again, firing again.....You get the idea? You will feel a point that you can hold to keep the gun firing. My Maddi will bump a 75 rnd drum in about 25 seconds. Make sure you have a good backstop and have safe fun doing it. Haven't tried it on a 223 ak but I think a 5.45 actually bumps a little easier than 7.62 Dont have any video handy at this moment of an ak bumpin but here is one of me racing a M-16 with my OLY in .223 of course. www.cetmerifles.com/videos/arrace.wmv |

be careful, it can kind of hop around some, make sure you have a BIG backdrop and nothing in front of you (like target stands you don't want shot up). It's pretty goofy actually, but if you live in a non-full auto state it's a fun way to make the deputies show up and start tromping around the woods looking for you when someone calls in a report of machinegun fire.
