Hello, I'm having a hard time finding a good AK-74 for $500 or less.

My question is, who, what where and why!

So far a the Arsonal USA model sound well built but the wait is about 3 months! And other ideas?  A good reliable, fairly accurate, shooter would be fine with me if the price is right. Are Romainians "good enough" in 545x39?

What would you recommend? Thanks

global is STILL three months from delivery?!?!

you might search the auction boards for a cur-2 or wum-2. these sell in the $300-350 range. this gives you some working room to add the furniture of your choice and a redstararms fire control group.

Yep, STILL 3 months! I talked to a smith on the phone. The DO sound sweet and well built though.

I'm not having much luck, mostly SAR-2's A7 $330. #@#^*(_&$$%$!!!!

For a 74,your options are limited. You either go for a SAR2 or the next step up being having a Smith build you one from a good parts kit and this will run you approximately 650.00 total or go for the SEAK.
