I read this earlier today, and it's very disturbing. I hope Dan get's through this fiasco in one piece. I believe Dan's word as well, and I hope Century will feel the negative repercussions from their current customers. My next ammo purchase will be from Dan. He needs our support to help get through this crap. |

too bad the atf agents are not that smart... so, you get a claim from an importer that their competitor is importing "illegal" machineguns. You than receive a part(s) of said machinegun from the informant. WHO is to say that the parts are from DAN's or CAI, OR who knows where else? Has anyone asked CAI what their side of the story is? IF this story is confirmed, I'm telling my CAI rep that they can stick it for shitty tactics like that. |

here's the deal: we are dealing in lawyers, guns and money. that's a piss poor combination for nutring integrity. toss in a couple of local and federal agencies and it's a formula for gunpowder. in all my years of business dealings in various industries, never...AND I MEAN NEVER...have i seen so many petty, vindictive, dishonest and downright larcenous people as the firearms trade has. most of the time, from the little ma & pa operations to the corporate giants, i find myself amazed at the lack of ethics found within our community. perhaps that is why i was not surprised at mike prewitt's and gary gucciano's activities. thank god for the honest folks in our sport! though it often seems they are few and far between, they are the ones that will carry the tradition of shooting sports forward on their shoulders. |
