I own semi-autos only. So far I'm bringing 2000 rounds of .308, 1000 rounds of .223, 1000 rounds of 7.62x39, and a few boxes of .45ACP for the pistol. Is it likely that I'll go though 4000+ rounds of ammo in one day???

Hopefully, I can run some of it through Class III weapons, assuming I can find some generous owners....

Should I bring more? What are you guys bringing?

I plan on 6 guns (in 5 calibers). Hot handguards are a limiting factor with only a few guns, and there are lots of cool toys to check out walking along the line. I avg 1500-2000 rnds, but plenty make me a lightweight :)Vendors will be there as well.

Pack up what ever you think you'll shoot and double it

Last year I brought:

.223 - 1000 rounds - AR locked up tight on the first shot of the day. FNC took over the job quite well.

.308 - 200 rounds. - Shot it up before lunch.

7.62 X 39 on strippers - 1 SKS chest pouch full.
Gone by lunch.

7.62 X 39 (for AK mags). ~1,500 rounds - Gone by lunch. (what the hell was I thinking, I had to bum ammo off people all day)

7.62 X 54R 1,600 rounds. Shot about 100.

8mm - 400 rounds (K98) gone by lunch.

Over heating guns was the main problem of the day.

This year there will be more 8mm, more 7.62 X 39, .223, 5.45, some 9mm, and some '06. Emphasis on MORE in the calibers I'm bringing back.

More 7.62 X 39, 8mm, and water.
Bring all the ammo you can, and rotate rifles.

Think I may double up and bring 2k of 7.62x39, and bring along my R6830 Colt for a little bump fire action....
Plus, it's cheap!

If you have to ask you don't have enough.

LOL, for some reason I have trouble feeling pity for anyone who owns a minigun.
