are the recievers milled or stamped. And what caliber would you get?

Stamped, but reinforced at the trunnion like an RPK. I would get a 5.56 or a 5.45 .

I was told 5.45 magazines are hard to find and so is 5.45. I don't think i have any interest in a 5.56

5.45 mags are cheap and easy to find.
www.K-Varcorp.com
has polymer ones for $10/ea.
www.RPBUSA.com
has nice bakelite mags for $5/ea
Ammo is as easy as ordering from
www.ammunitionstore.com
.
EDIT-Besides, If you don't want 5.56 or 5.45, then that only leaves 7.62X39.
In which case, why did you bother asking??

Looks cool.
Try Northinridge for 5.45mm mags. $25 bucks for 4 mags + an EG mag pouch and cleaning kit.

I`m looking into getting one in 7.62 x 39 mm. They look cool in a Galil kind of way.
