I am one of the unfortunate who sent GG a rifle for some work, which was never accomplished.  Basically it should have been a fairly simple project - align the front and rear sight blocks and install a scope rail on an SLR-95.  Assuming I get it returned from the KAG, can anyone recommend another gunsmith who can perform the above-stated work.  A Texas smith would be preferable.

I sent my SAR-2 to AK-USA, and they did a great job. However, any of the folks mentioned above do great work.

try Randy at Independence Arms..he is in Texas

I emailed him about installing an underfolding/fixed trunion on my SAR1. Is $100.00 too much? That seems rather steep to me, and I'm not a cheap bastid.
