I noticed a couple days ago that there are some light, dry areas around the rivet heads (front trunnion) on my Krebs '74M. I thought it was just a lubrication problem so rubbed some light oil into the finish around them, but it did nothing. I then tried some Gunscrubber thinking it might be something actually on the finish, but that didn't work either. I can't figure it out, and although it's not a huge deal overall, it is a $1000 rifle and I'd prefer it be as perfect as possible. Anyone else seen this before? Know a solution?

Did not notice that happening on mine. I'd just give Marc a call and ask him.

I doubt it's a problem with the construction/finishing of the rifle, it just looks like the area around them refuses to be lubricated. It's a minor eyesore, but an eyesore none the less.
