...plateshooter, waldo and i met for some plinking at tusco. plate's 91/30 was very much the fun toy. we could nail the plates with every shot using hungarian ammo. with the red dot on his armalite, the wolf flew to the steel with every trigger pull. met a benchrester shooting a .22br and .264. his .264 was doing 6" or less at 585 yards on a windy day! after shooting, my b-i-l and i pulled the motor out of the minivan (chrysler) and hauled it to bulletfest. oh yeah, on the way to the range i picked up another washer and on the way home i picked up yet another dryer! best of all, the neighbor donated a john deere garden tractor to replace the ranch king he 'borrowed' from me. |
