Got my Bulgy kits today.  There were no side rail mounts. Damn, I should have looked more closely, but that is my fault.  K-var has them (Bulgarian) but they want $30 each for them.

Is this what they go for, or does anyone know of anyplace cheaper?  This sounds a bit high to me.

F#@$ the Bulgarian one Obe. My SAR-2 has a Russian rail from Tantal. He sells riveted versions for the AK-74 too. I'd get that one. You'll have a more authentic look unless you're trying to build a Bulgarian clone

3:25 AM MY TIME SILLY!

I'm cool, no stuff tomorrow other than sleep in and study part of the day. I only have one class left.......

It was $33.40 for the rail + shipping + rivets.

Has anyone had any experience with the Centerfire mounts?  Are they the same as the units which are on the sars?

I picked up a Bulgy mount at the fun show last week for $15. It was worth looking around.

Go with the one's from Tantal. They are VERY nice compared to the cheaper ones around.

Well, since you will be putting the gun together for me, I guess I will take your advice.
