Worked on a GALIL and this fine VEPR .308 It set up sweet with a short travel 4.11 lbs on the scale, nice hunting rig. To bad it is not mine. Oh well I at least get to handle damn fine rifles.

That's a pretty gun. Is he planning on using that as a deer rifle? That's a hefty gun to haul around in the forest.

Campy, I've never hunted for deer, period. It's always been poor little birdies thus far (crows, doves, sparrows, etc.). I'll have to wait when I get out of med school and start making my own big $$$$ for large hunting expeditions......that and when my ultra paranoid mother dies, so she won't shoot me before some drunken hoosier does in the woods.

Trigger install and tune, buffer and retainer plate. Set trigger at 4.15 lbs. Nice Military set up and she is consistent. I would love to own this rifle as it shot very well.

Is that a Galil or a Valmet? The pic says Galil, so I'm curious.

Dammit. I need one of those. Spare Galil parts and magazines you can find, but Valmet parts you can't, mags you can.

Edited to add: I'm a dumbass. I should have known by the handguard and flash suppressor.
