Check your ejector guys. Got a batch of the 74 receivers in and a few of them WERE NOT heat treated. I'll get some pics up soon.

Fourtnately,

This is easy to check for as all you have to do is look for the discoloration.

I bought 4 a month or so back, I remember looking and they ejector was discolored. I also remember thinking the entire receiver was shoeing a different than usual color. What was your ration Me?

Hey Mike, you DID use a good receiver to build my Krink, RIGHT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Of course, Hiram! I always check them out before I build. Made the mistake of not checking many moons ago and paid for it.

We bought ten of them and two are not heat treated on the ejectors. No tell tale discoloration at all. The trigger and hammer holes are fine.

We have some case hardening compond coming, so I am going to do some experimenting on one.

good old ohio quality control!

good eye mike!

btw, a dab of hard face weld on the tip of the ejector tab followed by a cleanup with a die grinder works wonders. i fixed a couple of early hesse guns that way.

That's what we do too on the ones that wear down. Just wanted to try the case hardening and put it through a couple thousand rounds and check wear.

Hehhehehehe, send me the gun with a couple thousand rounds and I volunteer to test it.
