Has anyone had any experience with the Hungarian AMD-65's that Aim is selling? It looks like a nice rifle but with my luck it will be a POS. Are they built up by century once they hit the states? I was originnaly planning on buying a DPMS 16" but after firing my sar i need another AK.

call and ask, but iirc, the amd's are contract built by folks like global trades and gordontech.

Thanks for the reply Campybob. I think that Global Trades has a pretty good reputation but i have never heard of Gordontech before. I did a search for them and was only able to come up with a bunch of schools. Is $599 to much for a gun of this type?
