| Well you "Evil Bastards" talked me into it, next payday I will probably place my order. Now help me out on some info, if I use OOW rec how many more US parts do I need? Would it be 4? I will have to use K-vars buttstock I cannot stand the short AK stock and will most likely use a Red Star trigger group . So altogether there is 5 US parts. Thanks in advance. |
| You'll need a U.S. pistol grip, gas piston, or '74 brake. The Bulgarian brake is chrome lined vs. US made versions aren't. Since K-var's US stocks are based on Bulgarian design, go ahead and get their (US)pistol grip with your buttstock. That puts you at 6 US parts and compliant to use the foriegn muzzle brake. |

i just hope those johnny-come-lately's DON'T build in on that damnable chunk of overweight steel milled receiver!!! if they have the brains to build it on a genuine bulgarian stamped receiver my credit card will be smokin' as it get whipped out of my wallet! i know...i know! arsenal kazalak usa thinks they are doing us a favor buy catering to the american love of 'quality' (read: big, overweight, needlessly heavy forgings...but for an intermediate cartridge? c'mon!). and if this is arsenal usa (damn, i sure wish these guys would pick names that aren't so damn much alike!)...aka globaltrades...well, i hope jimmy pulls thru and cranks them out on feg recs...or better yet, the genuine bulgarian matching receivers (i'm tired of these freakin' mix-n-match ak's...polish on hungarian...chinese on oow...bulgarian on hungarian...for cryin' out loud! let's please get the right parts on the right receiver! it's bad enough we have to polute our ak's with slutty american parts (rsa excepted)...). is that too much to ask??? i must laud arsenal kazanlak usa for being the first to sell us a 'unitized' kalashnikov clone! for that, they deserve a medal! now...if i can only convince them that sophisticated ak buyers LOVE the stamped receiver and DIG the ak-74!!! |
