I also noticed it's been down. Probably loading a new software platform with new ways to extort money, new rules to censor members, or........who really gives a shit??? That board is all about the money.....If you're a paying vendor, then you have free reign to peddle your goods to the members.....if you're a member and notice a vendor is peddling crap, you can't say anything....if so, you're attacked by vendor and board lackeys, and if you're able to survive in some way.....well then you're BANNED. KF, the site owner isn't really a gun owner. Its a profit thing for him. and his "top", now there is a piece of work! I nearly bought that site from Ian, but I didn't think I could have given it what it deserves, with my limited web skills. Oh well, it worked out for the best, we have a fantastic home here, and a huge knowledge base to draw from. |

Maybe ak47net finally realized their culpability for their part in promoting and protecting fraud that has run rampant at their domocile for some time now. If they were smart (and they aren't) they would close down gunsnet, take all of their hard drives and grind them up and pretend they never existed. Mike |

I cant tell you all how utterly dissapointed I am that AK.net is "experiencing technical difficulties". Im further saddened that people like BowRunt arent gracing us with his sharp wit and gracefull literary skills. Yes, Those keyboard commandos are true heroes in the fight to promote themselves and suppress the rest of us. For it is "us" the lowly peons of these boards, that shall truly suffer. They have shown us that if we dont allow them to shit all over us they will simply ban us for eternity. They have taught us all a lesson. .. snicker .. BAAAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! the funny thing is...beauxhuntress is supposed to be the "security god" of ak-47.nutz. he can't even keep out the most blatant troll! past members of the campytrolls have been walking in and out of his cyber-door for over a year! and the funny thing is...mr. I just ignore the sewer. I have plenty of worthwhile things to read on other sites. I just kinda expect the decent people will find their way to other boards, like this one, and leave the thieves, liars, mental defectives, tin foil hat types, fake seals and other trash at AK-47.net |

Hi everyone. I'm another one from AK-47.net. I guess you could say that I'm changing camps. AK-47.net has gone WAYYY down hill since I first started posting there. (A little over a year ago) I'm tired of all the trolls, flames, and drivel that seems to keep that board in existence. Everyone that had anything worthwhile to say has moved on (to here). I've looked around this board a few times, but never posted. Please bear with me. I have more questions than I do answers, but that's due to inexperience. I've been around guns all my life. Only recently have I made a real hobby / obsession of it. My wife can't stand it, but I love her anyway. I look forward to reading your posts and getting to know you. |

I used to post over there too. I have only lurked over there the past 4 months. It seemed like all of a sudden all the members were more interested in slamming each other rather than sharing constructive dialog about the AK. awstokes, "Never seen HDR get so mad before..." heheheh! there were several of us that used to take turns lighting his fuse! man! that was fun. he got so flustered his normally incomprehensible attempts at english deteriorated into inane bably...sorta like beauxhuntress' 'normal' english skills! lol! "I did not know it was Ian trolling.. that makes it even better..." there were dozens involved. guys used to email me and ask if they could join the fun. secret accounts were often exchanged among the 'trols'. even i had a hard time keeping them straight. it got so confusing i had to resort to writing down nicks and 'who' did 'what'! thank you for your words. we try to have fun here! we are all bound by the passion for the kalashnikov and shooting sports...and we tend to act like these tenents are the reason we are here on the net together. hozer, how the hell are ya?!?! i hope we see you back at the creek this spring. ten_ring, welcome in! in addition to tantal's excellent website, we have aimed, since day one, to make this THE best ak site on the net. not out of some twisted desire to berate other firearm boards, but because we genuinely love firearms in general and the kalashnikov in particular. |
Got one of his galil receivers and it's pretty good. Well, coff, ah, eeee, except for the mag release. The hesse finish is flaking off to reveal the orginal finish. It'll be refinished anyway with the rest of the kit. |

And let's not forget that Bowpeep ACTUALLY said in an email that he ACTUALLY turned in "files" on his own members to his "4 or 5 contacts in the government" and that he ACTUALLY had members of AK-47 "arrested" for "being threats to society" by "trying to further their input".
