I'm not normally the type to hip shoot 40 round mags empty. I completely destroyed all of 79Transam's metal targets, the stands that the targets were hanging from (oops), an old metal door he was going to throw out, a garbage can, and a rock (at a safe distance); fortunately at that point his feet got cold since I was out of targets (I think I coulda cut a tree down with it..). Oh I think Centerfire systems has SAR3s for $ 279, but you'd have to pay the FFL of course. Not sure of their website but I'll try and dig up the phone number later. |

944- Hard to screw up with Aim. Century uses the 5.45 hammer in the 5.56 SAR, not quite correct geometry, tends to hit bolt/carrier at angle. It'll run, but a good spec hammer from Red Star Arms is $30, and the whole hts set is $80 well spent. Myself, from those I have seen, would change the hammer before the second case. Get some Weiger mags while you are ordering. Aimless- Nice test run endorsement! I am taking a dead humidifier out tomorrow; all this winter indoor .22 is bumming me out.. |
