I just use a generic Amazon 45 degree offset mount on the Ultimak with a Streamlight Protac1 light. The light has an integral mount built on the light itself. Puts the light right in front of my left thumb for easy on/off. Has been on the gun for a year or so now. Works great with no hassles.
Don't over think it. |

I use the IWC Thorntail SBR on my Ultimak.
I also have an RS Regulate BM-1 light mount, but I'm not completely sold on it. Not that it's not a well-made and efficient mount, I'm just not sure if I like it with the lights that I use (Surefire Scouts). |

I'd like to put a very small light on a NPAP underfolder that spends some time in my car trunk and some time hanging in a hall closet for HD.
I don't really want to put a railed HG on it, since I've been keeping this AK pretty much stock in a homage to 80's movies. Barrel clamp mount seems like the best choice for me, any advice on them? Or another route? |

RS BM1 with a TLR-1 on a Draco pistol.
The tlr-1 works well if you an ambi as you can get to one of the switched with your finger regardless of the side your shooting from. The BM1 also lets you keep your cleaning rod if you care about that sorta thing. |

I use a Thorntail SBR mount with a 1-cell Streamlight ProTac railmount light. It all connects to an Ultimak. I like it a lot.
