I haven't had much of a chance to test or document these optics but I was able to get some pictures last trip back to the US. I'll have a more formal page on russianoptics.net in the next few weeks or so

PO 4x17
I have been wanting this optic forever and am also very glad to see they are arriving in the US. This appears to use the body of the tank like PK01-VS but with 4x magnification and a weaver base

On the fantastic RS mount

BelOMO RSM, Trijicon MRO, NPZ Rakurs PM, BelOMO PK06, Holosun and NPZ PKU-2

BelOMO RSM on NPZ side rail

PKU-2
I had not heard of this until I recently noticed it for sale on another forum. Seems to be a copy of the Aimpoint and pretty well made at first pass. Battery life not tested yet

Trijicon MRO. I have ordered the RS Regulate MRO mount and will get some pics next time I'm in the States

PKU-2 size comparison to MRO

A few more pics of the NPZ PSU 1-4 and Elcan DR

NPZ Rakurs PM

Last but not least a Kobra style mount with the excellent BelOMO universal mount

Thanks again for your informative posts and excellent photography.   First time I've seen an MRO on an AK, and it looks great!  I can't wait to get your review of the RS mount for the MRO.

+1 to this, I really enjoy your reviews, pretty much the reason I bought two Rakurs

I was looking to get a PO 4x24. How would you compare the 4x17?

PO 4x24P2 is equivalent to Kashtan in my opinion and a really good optic. BelOMO seems to have designed it for the same role as Kashtan and it's mkore suited for that role than PO 3.5x21P which is on the heavy side. While I didn't have a chance to test it PO 4x17 appears to be smaller, lighter and sexier while providing the same effectiveness as PO 4x24P.

Not sure which is more expensive in the current market, but if you want the lowest possible mount you will need to buy something else other than the included PK01-Vi mount, which is likely to make PO 4x17 the higher priced of the two. Functionally I think there is little difference between PO 4x24 and PO 4x17, and all three (including Kashtan) are on my  short list of best overall AK optics.

Included mount appeared to be the same as Vi

Is there any indication that the PKU-2 is natively built, or are they just buying them from Holosun like PA?

Considering it's NPZ I would think unlikely, but hey maybe they really dig Holosun too
