I ordered one. It seems that it bypasses the side latch and uses a magnet to secure it to the side of the receiver, like the scorpion evo. Im curious to see how it works.

I wonder why they used a magnet to secure it? It's built to fit a standard 4.5mm folding trunnion...strange that it doesn't use the front latch which by design must also already be installed in the receiver.

Seems like there are multiple sling point options and it is a US made part which is cool. I'll be interested to see how sturdy it is in the long run.

Probably easier than machining a slot into billet aluminum to allow the stock latch to hold it

The angle on the stock is really funky, why so far downward sloped?

Now that I have been thinking about it, there would be a great deal of wear on the aluminum from the steel latch. So i can see why they went with the magnet.

Looks like an interesting option for Bulgarian folders out there. Wonder how that magnet will hold up after alot of use.
