Looks like we have a 3rd pin...
My question is, how was this overlooked?

Called it the second I saw the first picture of them.

How in the world did they overlook that major detail?

Who knows, but I want one a lot more now.

lol.. I haven't paid much attention, so this is the first pic I've seen those shows it with that plastic "lower" removed.  What on earth is the point of that plastic abortion?  Looks completely pointless.  And the third pin recall is no surprise at all.

same here.  thought it was just the demo models at first,  then saw the same photos on resellers sites. none of them ever responded to questions being asked about it,  even in this forum we brought it up a few times.

how did some of the more well known AK importers allow these to be sold to customers knowing that this would probably happen?

I noticed that too and found it suspicious.

Added the same topic in the Galil subforum.

Google doesn't seem to like me, these days.

Anyone else curious about why the ATF inspector who looked at the samples didn't say something about the third pin when it was first submitted for importation?

LMAO! Pointed out on multiple forums when first pics circulated but ATF and manufacturer aren't smart enough to figure it out. Brilliant!

Good news on the 7.62x51 model coming in,  since the mags are known to be compatible with the Zastava M77. I haven't worked up to paying $40ea for the Csspecs mags yet.

From what was published before the 7.62NATO model for the US market is actually modified to take 7.62 AR mags like the SR25 or some shit, so cheaper than the $40 mags
