Is anyone running a ZenitCo B10 lower handguard?

Zenitco B10

If so what's your thoughts on it?

Thx

I could never justify the price for that.

I think this is the best AK HG that I've seen yet. It's lightweight and very well made plus looks appropriate for an AK (FWIW).

Can't justify the price but it's a great HG

Yea, the Zenit stuff is retarded expensive and most of it looks like ass.  But that is just my opinion.

Take a look at Manticore's Alfa Rail.  Like the B10, it looks like it belongs on there and is MUCH more reasonably priced.  I'm waiting on the release of the extended version.

Thanks for the feedback.  Reason I ask is I have had the MI universal handguard on two SAR-2's for awhile and I just don't like the attachment method. They get loose no matter how tight the little screws are tightened up against the barrel, etc. I just think its a weak system.

So I'm looking at upgrading to a solid system on the SAR's and if I find a good solid lower I may replace the factory lower on my SLR-106FR.

I don't need a lot of "rail" on the handguards but want better ventilation since the 5.45 & 5.56 rds heat those barrels (especially the SAR2s) up fast. I'm running a Ultimak railed gas tube on the SLR for a MRD and like the simplicity of that and will likely do the same to the SARs.

Thanks for the lead on the Manticore Alfa Rail, I wasn't aware of it.  The key-mod features are nice. But the price difference ($50) isn't a deal breaker.  So I have to study both lowers (B10 & Alfa) some more.

Thx
