My Zastava O-PAP AK has some pretty intense trigger slap that I really want to get rid of. It already has a single hook Tapco G2 trigger which some people have said they fixed their trigger slap by replacing their old trigger with the G2.

I've seen videos where filing down the tang on the disconnector seems to work but I don't have the tools or experience to use this method to fix the problem.
Would installing a new trigger group, say an Arsenal for instance, solve the problem?

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

there are trigger groups with no tang on the disconnector. I will look in my trigger parts bag and see if I have one. I'm pretty sure I do. I have drill this weekend so it may not be until Sunday evening before I can check. If I have one I will gladly pay it forward to you.

Wow, that's really generous of you. Even if you don't have one, I appreciate the offer and couldn't thank you enough.

My SLR104UR has ridiculous trigger slap. Replaced the Arsenal FCG with a G2, its better but still there.

I replaced the FCG on my VEPR12 with a modified G2 and it still has noticeable trigger slap too.
