DDI appears to have bought Waffen Works tooling and surplus parts. DDI is building new milled receivers. Is it too early to jump on one or should you wait and let the new parts filter completely in. I am no AK expert so I'm just investigating at this point. Any opinions? Tell me what you think about the new guns. Thanks.

Their milled guns are good to go and use their DDI milled receiver, not Waffen Werks.

Their stamped guns are more often than not good to go but you may experience issues with some.  I still think they're a great buy.  They have great customer support if anything wrong happens.

Alright, here's another question. Would you buy a milled DDI or a heavy stamped Yugo M70B1?

Who made the Yugo? I like stamped more, but only if its built by a reputable company or builder.

If it's a Century M70, I'd go with the DDI. If the M70 was built by someone like, say, Two Rivers, I'd take the Yugo.

I was looking at Zastava. I have not heard of Two Rivers. I will have to check them out.

So it's a Zastava M70 NPAP or M70 OPAP? If so, that would be my choice.  Do you have a link to the M70B1 you're looking at? Anything designated "M70B1" will be a rifle built on a demilled parts kit, not a Zastava-manufactured rifle. It'll be modeled on the Zastava M70B1 battle rifle but it'll be built by someone like Century using M70B1 parts.
