Gentlemen,

As many of you, I have several different AK type rifles.  The two which are the subject of this thread is a Yugo M70 and an AMD-65.  I understand they both have 14X1 LH threaded muzzles, yes?  Well that is the issue for which I could use some help.  I have an AAC SD762 can which I use on several 308 rifles, and I also want to use on the Yugo and AMD.   The can requires the use of AAC's proprietary flash hider.  They do not, however, make the flash hider with 14X1 LH threads.  So, where do I get an adapter from 14X1 LH to 15X1 RH, for example?  And once I do get an adapter that will work with my AMD/Yugo combo and the AAC Blackout flash hider, since the Com Bloc threads are "backwards," every time I tighten the can onto the gun I will be worried about unscrewing the thing--so do I get it pinned?

I cannot be the first person to want to use my AAC product on a Com Bloc gun--so I don't want to plow any new fields if I don't have to.

I've seen AAC muzzle devices on AKs before, usually the barrels will be re-threaded to 1/2x28; Otherwise you'll have to worry about the muzzle threads, thread adapter, muzzle device and suppressor threads being concentric to the bore so you don't get baffle strikes.
That is the primary problem with using thread adapters for what you're talking about; that being said, they do make the thread adapter you seek:

I went with a YHM Phantom because they make brakes for standard 5.56 and 7.62 threads,
and flash hiders for those two plus a dozen other thread sizes.

Including HK, AKs, etc. the only one they did not have I had to get a CNC adapter for was the huge PAP threads.

This is the way I'd go, OP.

Much cheaper than buying a new can, or getting yours worked on after the threaded adapter/muzzle device jiggles under recoil and gets clipped by a round.

Plus then you can use a mount you're already familiar with.

Yep. With the adapter you'll just be tolerance stacking. It'd be worth it to me to rethread and have piece of mind.
