I have a Vector built on an Elk River receiver. I ran it in a class and it was fine as it always has been. I just noticed though if I cock the gun and pull the trigger and hold the trigger back, cock it again and let the trigger reset that half the time it wont reset and is a dead trigger. If I cock the gun but don't hold the trigger back for a reset it functions perfect every time. The trigger is a double hook Tapco. Any ideas what is going on and what the fix is? Thanks!

I had an AK built on an Armory USA receiver (same company) and a single hook Tapco G2 with that issue.  I replaced the trigger group with a double hook G2 and that fixed the problem.

Are both "legs" of the hammer/trigger spring on the trigger?

Not sure if mine is a G2 exactly but it says tapco and has 2 hooks.

I'll check tonight what I get access to the gun again.

My first thought as well; it sounded like only 1 leg of the hammer spring was on the trigger.
