| Stamped Yugo is completely different. Stamped Chinese receiver is thicker so the buttstock slot is different width than standard AKM. Most other stock for stamped AKM will fit. Different countries (Bulgarian, Polish, Russian, etc.) are manly just different shapes and wood. |

Look at this and tell me what they mean by the difference.
http://www.ironwooddesigns.com/IWDNEWAK74_2.html I knew there was a difference between stamped and milled but otherwise I am lost. |

The one in your link will work with your gun. Like all stocks though, expect some fitting, but otherwise, you'll be GTG.
ETA: Here is a link for finished stocks (Though fitting will still be required). I believe the person who does it is a member here. http://www.combloccustoms.com/ |

The link I posted has two options at the bottom. I am not looking to replace my stocks unless I get a NATO length. The FAQ section at the bottom of the page ought to help you determine which set to order. Receiver Types If your rifle's receiver measurements match that of a Saiga then you'll want a "BUL/POL" set. |

when I am looking for stocks it asks if its standard or Polish or Bulgarian. Whats the difference Okay, there seems to be some confusion here, but I think what it boils down to is this: The differences in the stock types, are cosmetic, and what buttplate hardware they take etc., And this is because most folks want a stock that mimics the shape and look of the stock that would have originally come on a certain type of rifle, this is in large part because so many kits have come into the US in the last couple decades that may have worn out furniture, and also for all the "post-ban" rifles that people want to de-ban and take back to original configuration. As stated above, the Yugo's are very different, some rifles have slanted backs, and some milled have two tangs. But if it's a standard squarebacked stamped AK, you can put most any standard stock on it. If you want to have the "correct" look, figure out what kind of AK you have, and buy that type of stock. |
