I want to change out my AK stock. I originally went with the NATO length stock, I want something a little shorter so I can "get into it" a little more. Also when I wear my plate carrier it's just to long to be comfortable. The two I'm trying to decide between are a sand Warsaw pact length  stock or a Rifle Dynamics AR stock adaptor. Do I stay more traditional or go with the more adaptable RD adaptor?

A lot of guys are saying the RD setup is too high to comfortably use the iron sights.  Just repeating what I've read several times on here.. I've never used the RD setup.

I felt this way.

Mounted it in conjunction with a SOPMOD B5 and took it off quickly there after.

If you run optics 100% of the time it's a good setup.

I like to shoot irons more often.

You guys must have fat cheeks!

The RD M4 stock adapter is a little high, but it works fine for me at the battle zero. At the 100m setting it's too low for me, but I'm also running an aimpoint PRO and it's perfect for optics.
